Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical adviser to President Biden, was faced with a TV show about the resignation.

However, in a rare case, Fauci rebuffed the idea of resigning in an interview with a Tory host. Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Mediation reported.
Earlier in the interview, Fauci had defended the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rochelle Walensky, who had suggested booster shots. But then Hewitt read a list of controversies surrounding the pandemic.
“I lost faith in the CDC and the FDA [Food and Drug Administration], and I actually believe that a lot of Americans, a significant part of America, have now lost faith in you, Dr Fauci, ”Hewitt said.
“There comes a time when you say, ‘I’m doing more harm than good because people don’t listen to me anymore’ and you step aside? Hewitt asked.
“No. Absolutely, unequivocally no,” Fauci replied.
Fauci added: “So, because there are a lot of people who have ideas about conspiracies, change of mind and flip-flops, that’s no reason to quit. Not at all.”
Getting the public vaccinated has been Fauci’s constant goal, with the challenge of convincing almost 70 million unvaccinated Americans, according to Eat this, not that.
