NEWARK – In a New Jersey port, federal authorities seized one million pounds of pork smuggled into the country from China.

The CPB stated that the pork had been smuggled for several weeks in containers where the meat was hidden by bundles of noodles and laundry detergent.

The transport of meat comes after the CPB and other authorities stopped a massive shipment of cocaine worth $ 77 million to the port of New Jersey.
