Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman (D) publicly criticized the senator on Wednesday. Kyrsten Cinema (D-Arizona) for voicing opposition to a $ 3.5 million price tag on a spending package that includes large chunks of President Biden’s plan for jobs and families.

“At unprecedented times like these, Democrats must vote like Democrats,” Fetterman, a US Senate candidate, said in a statement. “We have the majority, we have the Presidency, we have the House, we have the Senate – so let’s act on it and finally present Biden’s agenda to the American people.”

Fetterman joined a chorus of progressive lawmakers who shot Sinema after condemning the spending bill’s $ 3.5 million price tag while voicing support for launching the budget resolution debate that lays the foundation for the program spending supported by Democrats.

“I … made it clear that although I will support the launch of this process, I do not support a bill that costs $ 3.5 trillion,” she reportedly said, according to the Arizona Republic.
