FINDLEY LAKE – A Findley Lake man was being held without bail after an assortment of drugs was discovered in the hotel room he was staying in, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said.

Shawn Conway, 43, faces a slew of charges after members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, with help from the county’s SWAT team, executed a search warrant at 4:40 p.m. on Friday at the Comfort Inn on Route 426 in Findley. Conway was in a room, carrying 224 grams of methamphetamine, 109 grams of fentanyl, 12.83 grams of cocaine, 29 grams of crack, 40 doses of morphine and an amount of cash, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Press.

The man from Findley Lake was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. He is currently facing charges of second and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree criminal using drug paraphernalia.
