SINGAPORE: Fitbit, an American apparel technology company, has launched a new initiative to encourage Singaporeans to adopt better habits in physical activity, sleep, nutrition and emotional well-being. announced the company Wednesday, August 21.

HPB is aligning this initiative with other initiatives, such as the National Steps Challenge and the Healthy 365 application, to increase the participation and engagement of those present.

Users will be able to link their Fitbit activity to health issues on the Healthy 365 app, which will then allow them to win prizes or earn points and redeem rewards, the company said.

HPB CEO Zee Yoong Kang said in a statement that the agency was working with industry players like Fitbit to use the technology to provide Singaporeans with the tools they need to take control of their business. their own health.

For example, those who enroll in the Fitbit service will have the opportunity to share their data with the agency. These data, in turn, will provide information and contribute to more effective and targeted health promotion interventions and programs that will benefit Singaporeans.
