Five bold predictions for the Miami Dolphins in week 10

The Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers will see the horns tomorrow at Miami Gardens with the Dolphins looking to push their record to 6-3 on the season and their winning streak to 5. Miami has not been in that good. position halfway point of an NFL season since 2014 and the momentum and energy of the franchise is undeniable. There will be bumps in the road. But the Dolphins are hoping to avoid a disappointment tomorrow against a Los Angeles 2-6 team that has plenty of talent but apparently finds a new way to let wins slip through their fingers every week.

Miami has an incredible opportunity to push itself to new heights over the next month and it all starts Sunday against the Chargers. What should we expect to see? We’re glad you asked the question.

Here are five bold predictions:

Mike Gesicki bounces back

The 2020 season hasn’t been too kind to Mike Gesicki’s stat production. The tight big end struggled to find production on a weekly basis and instead became seemingly a boom or bust proposal every week. But Gesicki started showing signs of life with QB Tua Tagovailoa last week, catching a deep road and then securing a critical grip on Miami’s winning record. The chemistry is showing signs of potential, but more importantly, when you watch the Chargers’ defense, the team’s top three linebackers and half of their starting safety duo allow opposite quarterback ratings of over 100 this season.

The opportunity presents itself this week for Gesicki.
