Epic Games has released a new Fortnite update for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mobile.
The development team has revealed that even if the Nintendo Switch gets the same patch today, it will arrive a bit later than other platforms.
With respect to the official update notes for the new update, it seems unlikely that we would receive a long list.
Epic Games has already confirmed that today's Fortnite update is client-based and will focus only on a few areas of the game.
So, do not expect any new content to be announced in the next few hours.
The good news is that the new Fortnite update does not require any downtime, as no scheduled maintenance is scheduled to date.
Here are other articles from Epic Games, who wrote: "We have released a client update that contains some stability fixes / bugs. No downtime, but you will have to download the update.
"Switch players will receive this update soon after from other platforms."
Confirmed bug fixes for today's Fortnite update:
- Xbox players are unable to use the mouse and keyboard.
- Creative performance and stability
Although today's update contains only bugfixes, it seems that another solution is being introduced, which could contain much more interesting elements.
It has now been confirmed that the Driftboard will be released as part of a new LTM event.
A new message in the game confirms it: "Start your own game with the new limited time. Derivative! "
Data Miners have found references to the new limited-time mode that should be operational later this week.
The description reads: "Land near a red refueling chute, take a drifting board and weapons, meet your team and run to eliminate the enemies. The last place is winning!
More things should be announced by Epic Games in the coming days.
