PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia small business that rose to fame in the 2020 presidential election got a new dose of fame on Super Bowl Sunday. Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Holmesburg first gained national attention in November when then-presidential adviser Rudy Giuliani accidentally picked him as the setting for a high-profile press conference.
“We were just ordinary people, ordinary people who were caught in an extraordinary situation,” said owner and CEO Marie Siravo.

Siravo was preparing to hand over the nearly 30-year-old business to his son Michael. But she could never have predicted what would happen next.
Fiverr, a global company that connects businesses to freelancers, asked him to star in their very first Super Bowl commercial.
“We’re so proud that she’s in our Super Bowl commercial and that it’s helping her business,” said Fiverr vice president of brand Duncan Bird.
The commercial pokes fun at Four Seasons’ luck rubbing shoulders with stardom, and while Siravo has no previous acting experience, it comes across as natural.

“The director was so amazing that I was saying my line, and he was like: ‘Marie, I need this a little harder, I need this a little harder, I need this with a little more attitude. ‘ I’m from South Philadelphia, it wasn’t very difficult for me, ”she said.
“Is this the lobby?” asks a woman in the ad. “This is not a hotel!” Siravo yells in a funny wink at Giuliani’s confusion.
While the place got a lot of laughs, it’s emotional for Siravo, who said it would have a lasting impact on the legacy she leaves as she retires knowing her business is stronger than ever. .
“Fiverr made sure of that,” she said. “My grandchildren will remember me, will remember me when I am not here, and I am fortunate to have my children to make my dream come true.”

After a whirlwind of three months since that infamous press conference, Siravo leaves for a well-deserved vacation.
