Fox news host Rachel Campos-Duffy Sunday made a strange litter, suggesting that Jill bidenis partly responsible for the crisis in Afghanistan because she allowed her husband to run for president.
In a segment on President Joe Biden’s declining approval ratings amid the Taliban takeover of Kabul, “Fox & Friends” weekend co-host Will Cain said the states -United were losing their position on the world stage due to Biden’s management of Afghanistan.
Campos-Duffy agreed, then pointed to the first lady.
“When you look at what hurts America, when you look at this lack of leadership, and you ask yourself, who are the people responsible for putting someone so incompetent and frankly, you know, mentally fragile in that position? ” she said.
“I’m sorry, as a political wife I can’t help but watch Jill Biden,” continued Campos-Duffy, who is married to former GOP congressman Sean Duffy.
“No one knew her state of mind better than Dr Jill Biden,” she added, emphasizing “doctor”, even though the first lady has a doctorate in education, not in medicine.
“And if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband to love her husband and not let him run around in this mental state he is in,” he said. – she concluded. “I think she also failed with the country.”
It’s apparently on the mark for the Fox News host, who earlier this year, accused former first lady Michelle Obama, a citizen, for failing to help schools reopen during the coronavirus pandemic.
Jill Biden’s name was all the rage after the segment, as her followers flooded the stream with praise for her and Fox News critics shook their heads at the remarks. Some have asked why Melania Trump was not blamed for any of her husband’s decisions, including the deal he made with the Taliban last year, its handling of the pandemic and the insurgency it sparked. Others simply marveled at the extent of the reach.
Fox News did not immediately return a request for comment.
