A new setting
"It's a new world", we hear in the teaser of season 6. After five seasons in the women's prison Litchfield, Jenji Kohan and his team decided to relocate the plot and detach themselves from some secondary characters. A welcome revival!
Remember, season 4 ended with the accidental death of Poussey, asphyxiated by novice goalkeeper Baxter Bayley. The prison had decided to hide the facts, which had triggered the revolt and riot of season 5. The mutiny was broken, a large portion of the inmates were divided between several prisons. Piper, Taystee, Crazy Eyes, Cindy Black, Daya, Red, Gloria and Maria are transferred to the high security Litchfield, "Bitchfield" for intimates.
A new plot
Our heroines will learn to live, but especially to survive in this new ultra-violent environment that is a QHS. They will find themselves in the midst of an endless gang war waged by two rival sisters, Carol and Barbara, at a distance, one is placed in block C, the other in block D. The ex Lichtfield will have to choose their side, and not always of their own free will. How far will the hostilities go?
A new cast
Piper, Taystee, Crazy Eyes, Black Cindy, Daya, Red, Gloria and Maria will discover new co-prisoners. Among those to be wary of, there are Badison (Amanda Fuller) and Daddy (Vicci Martinez), the lieutenants of the two sisters.
