Dennis Hof, a famous brothel owner, was elected on Tuesday, November 6th in the mid-term US elections at the Nevada badembly, under the Republican label. The 72-year-old man, however, died on October 16, while celebrating his birthday at a giant party.

According to the results of the local elections published on the site of the Nevada legislature, Dennis Hof won with 63% of the votes against a Democratic candidate in the 36e constituency of the Assembly of this state of the west of the country. An anomaly that may have occurred due to a particularity of the electoral code in force, which allows post-mortem applications.

Known for his rowdy personality, former reality TV star Dennis Hof with his show "Cathouse" had opened seven brothels, gas stations and restaurants in the area. An unconditional supporter of Donald Trump, he had published his memoirs, The Art of the Pimp ("The art of mackerel"), referring to Donald Trump's bestseller, The Art of the Deal ("The art of negotiation").
