Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed to Angela Merkel a "serious concern" in Moscow after the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, asking the German Chancellor to dissuade Kiev of any "thoughtless", announced Tuesday the Kremlin in a statement.
In a telephone conversation with Merkel, Vladimir Putin "expressed serious concern over Kiev's decision … to introduce martial law" and "hoped that Berlin could influence the Ukrainian authorities to to dissuade them from future unthinking acts, "the statement said.
