Brazil. French artist murdered near Rio de Janeiro

A 33-year-old Frenchman, who had been living in Brazil for several years, was found shot dead in Paraty, near Rio de Janeiro.

A French artist residing in Brazil was found shot dead in Paraty, near Rio de Janeiro, and his house was burned, police said Monday. The body of Cedric Jaurgoyhen Madala, 33, was found on Friday "with a bullet impact […] in the farm where he lived, an isolated and remote place" downtown, explained police in the state of Rio in a statement.
