Long remained invisible, Godzilla: King of the Monsters began to show up a few days ago via one or two images and an intriguing teaser. But that was enough to raise the pressure of the fans.
Yes, it is always with the same astonishment that one realizes how much Godzilla remains popular despite his age, and despite the plethora of films that did not really do him justice. Yet, in 2014, Gareth Edwards offered us a whole new approach, much more atmospheric we'll say, a lot more twilight too.
A world not too much in form
From there was born an extensive universe which then subjected us Kong: Skull Island then in 2020 Godzilla vs. Kong . But between the two, it will first have to live with the Godzilla: King of the Monsters that we concocted Michael Dougherty and will be released on our screens on March 20, 2019. A continuation of the previous film that will pick up the characters of the scientists played by Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe to make room for a new ripped family of Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown.
The trailer that has just been unveiled may calm many people by its beauty and its gigantism as much as it puts even more forward the idea of a conscious planet that would send its emissaries to do the housework. The big attraction of the film, it will be of course Mothra and King Ghidorah, ancestral opponents of the giant lizard that the trailer tease us in an absolutely beautiful way against a backdrop of Erik Satie.
In short, it has the clbad, visually, c is beautiful, it promises its quota of destruction on a large scale and Godzilla has never been so beautiful. A trailer that certainly gives confidence.
