ALGERIAN COMMUNITY ESTABLISHED ABROAD

The Government's Objective is to Go Medium-Term to the E-Government Phase The Government's Objective is to Go Medium-Term to the step of the electronic administration

The delivery of these acts will be carried out through an online request near any municipality of Algeria. The citizen's request will be processed in three days.

The withdrawal of civil status records issued abroad and the certificate of driving ability for Algerians living abroad are now possible from a distance. The launch of the online service for the processing and issuance of these documents yesterday, respectively by Interior Ministers Nouredine Bedoui and Foreign Affairs Minister Abdelkader Messahel in Algiers will now guarantee them. The delivery of civil status records will be made through an online application to any municipality in Algeria. The processing of the request of the citizen will be done in three days. As a reminder, the issuance of these acts and this certificate is done for the time through the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The procedure lasts weeks and sometimes months. This state of affairs penalizes many members of the Algerian community living abroad. Speaking on the sidelines of the launch ceremony of this service that took place at the APC of Algiers-Center, Nouredine Bedoui said that the launch of this service is part of the overall approach of the digitalization of the administration initiated by the government. "The desire to benefit Algerians living abroad from this development is dictated by the vision of the President of the Republic, on equality between Algerians established inside the country and those established abroad" , he explained. "The procedure of issuing civil status certificates and driving ability certificates for members of the Algerian community is not the first step in this direction. This is in addition to the issue of the issuance of the biometric pbadport and national identity card, "added the minister, noting that efforts in this direction will continue. "The government's goal is to move to the e-government phase in the medium term. We want the citizen to be able to afford the delivery of all administrative documents from his home, "said Nouredine Bedoui. "The launch of the online service will also allow community members to have the national ID number now. The latter will allow them to use it with all Algerian institutions to obtain documents or badert their rights, "said the Minister of the Interior. For his part, Abdelkader Messahel said that the launch of the online service is a new achievement for the Algerian community established abroad. "The impact of this service will be strongly felt by our fellow citizens, because it will save them a lot of time," he says. The interest of the Algerian state in regard to members of the national community abroad will, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, increase in recent years. "After the access to housing in its LPP formula and to the Ansej and Cnac facilities, community members are now enjoying the benefits of digitization of the administration," said Messahel, noting that the state will bring more Algerians living abroad from the mother country. Referring to the number of biometric pbadports issued to members of the Algerian community living abroad, the Foreign Minister said that 90% of Algerians could have their pbadports. "The remaining 10 percent is for late-comers who have not yet found it urgent to get new pbadports," he said. With regard to the issue of pbadports, it should be recalled that the State, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mobilized its consulates to issue the maximum number of pbadports in a short time. The State has provided all the consultas with the necessary equipment for the preparation of these pbadports and the necessary staff. In addition, and with regard to access to LPP housing, and aid schemes for the creation of small businesses, namely Ansej and Cnac, the Algerian State mobilized two ministers, in this case Abdelwahid Temmar, Minister of Housing and Mourad Zemali Minister of Labor. The two ministers were sent for a week in France to meet members of the Algerian community and explain the necessary steps, and the inherent benefits. The enthusiasm of Algerians living abroad for housing and its devices is enormous for the time being. The members of the Algerian community have not failed, as a reminder, to thank the Algerian State for this growing interest.
