Ten people died in Sicily, in the Palermo region, because of floods caused by rivers out of bed.
Among the victims, nine members of the same family, including children aged 1, 3 and 15, were recovered from their home in Casteldaccia along a small river, while a man was killed at the wheel of his vehicle. Two other people are missing in the area.
