Riverdale : un premier aperçu de la saison 3 dévoilé
Les fans présents au panel de Riverdale ont eu droit à une bande-annonce résumant les deux premières saisons et se terminant par quelques images exclusives de la saison 3, attendue dès le 10 octobre sur la CW et sur Netflix en France. Une saison 3 qui débutera trois mois après les événements du final de la saison 2 et qui offrira son lot de problèmes aux habitants de Riverdale (un procès à risque pour Archie, la menace d'une secte pour les Cooper). Mais tout ne sera pas noir puisque Jughead verra également sa mère et sa petite soeur revenir dans sa vie, et on ne vous parle même pas du nouvel épisode musical prévu par les scénaristes.
Legacies : une première bande-annonce pour le spin-off de The Originals
À quelques jours de la diffusion du final de The Originals, son spin-off, Legacies, centré sur Hope, la fille de Klaus et d'Hayley, s'est davantage dévoilé ce week-end par le biais d'une première bande-annonce. Des images en majeure partie issues de la saison 5 de The Originals et du backdoor pilot qui sera diffusé cette semaine aux États-Unis (le tournage de Legacies venant tout juste de débuter) mais qui permettent en tout cas de poser l'ambiance de cette série dérivée se déroulant au sein de l'école Salavatore de Mystic Falls et de découvrir un premier aperçu en images de Lizzie et Josie Saltzman, les jumelles d'Alaric et de Caroline, désormais adolescentes. Diffusion attendue sur la CW dès le 25 octobre.
Mayans MC : Enfin un trailer pour le spin-off de Sons of Anarchy
Lancée le 04 septembre prochain sur FX, Mayans MC a enfin dévoilé sa première bande-annonce. La série s'intéressera aux membres du Mayans Motorcycle Club qui sévissent à la frontière entre le Mexique et la Californie et se penchera plus particulièrement sur le destin de Ezekiel Reyes, alias EZ (J. D. Pardo), jeune "prospect" des Mayans, tout juste sorti de prison. Mayans MC se déroulant dans le même univers que Sons of Anarchy, Kurt Sutter a évidemment dû répondre à l'inévitable question sur d'éventuels crossovers : "Sons était un grand univers. Il y avait des tas de parties prenantes en périphérie. Il y a un lien entre les Mayans et les Sons. Nous verrons ces points d'intersections dans la saison et également durant la série. Mais, c'est un équilibre à trouver. Je veux trouver des opportunités de tourner autour mais je ne veux pas non plus en abuser."
Vikings : Un premier trailer musclé et la date de la saison 5B dévoilés
Après de très longs mois d'absence – 10 pour être exacts – les fans de Vikings vont enfin pouvoir retrouver leur série fétiche à compter du 28 novembre prochain. Un retour annoncé avec, en prime, la toute première bande-annonce, très musclée, de la saison 5B ! Souvenez-vous, la première partie de la saison 5 s'était achevée avec la victoire de l'armée d'Ivar sur celle de Lagertha. Cette deuxième partie de saison explorera donc l'après-bataille et ses conséquences. Ivar, en sa position de nouveau Roi de Kattegat, affrontera toujours ses anciens ennemis et mènera un "règne pleine de tyrannie sur la Scandinavie, qui conduira à un nouvel Age sombre"selon un communiqué de presse d'History Channel.
The Man in the High Castle : une date pour la saison 3, un Teaser, et une saison 4 déjà commandée !
Très solide adaptation de l'oeuvre justement réputée inadaptable de Philip K. Dick, "Le Maître du Haut-Château"sans doute considéré comme le plus fameux roman de l'auteur culte, The Man in the High Castle terminait sa saison 2 en mode apocalyptique, laissant depuis les spectateurs dans une brûlante expectative sur la suite de la série diffusée sur Amazon Prime Video. Pour rappel, nous vous disions ici tout le bien que nous pensions de cette série, produite notamment par Ridley Scott.
Bonne nouvelle : la productrice déléguée de la série, Isa Dick Hackett, a confirmé lors du Comic Con de San Diego que la saison 3 débutera sa diffusion le 5 octobre prochain sur la version US d'Amazon Prime Video. Et quoi de mieux que d'accompagner une annonce par un petit teaser de cette saison 3, qui laisse entrevoir une grosse montée en puissance des enjeux dramatiques de la série, à commencer par un toujours aussi impeccable et glaçant Rufus Sewell ?
Tout en confirmant également la mise en chantier d'une saison 4, la productrice déléguée a en outre précisé que la saison 3 à venir était, chose intéressante, partiellement basée sur deux chapitres écrits par Philip K. Dick de la suite de son roman original, mais jamais achevée et publiée. Tout comme les deux saisons précédentes, la 3e lâchera d'un coup ses 10 épisodes.
Supernatural : le showrunner tease le 300e épisode de la série
Supernatural ne revient que le 11 octobre sur la CW, mais le Comic-Con a été l'occasion d'évoquer avec l'équipe la saison à venir, et l'épisode 300, qui sera le 13e de la saison 14. Selon le showrunner Adrew Dabb, l'épisode 100 était "un épisode très brut"quand l'épisode 200 (saison 10, épisode 5) "partait dans la direction opposée, il était très méta et portait un regard sur le show lui-même. Pour la 300e, nous voulons faire quelque chose qui se trouve quelque part entre les deux." Cela pourrait se manifester par la découverte des frères Winchester à travers un autre point de vue, qui soit extérieur. Le travail des scénaristes consisterait donc à se demander : "Comment ces gens voient-ils Sam et Dean – sans perdre de vue l'histoire de Sam et Dean"si l'on en croit Andrew Dabb. "Nous pensons que ça pourrait être une vraie lettre d'amour à la série, dans ce qui, nous l'espérons, sera un épisode réjouissant – avec des meurtres. Réjouissant avec des meurtres."
