Muslim religious extremists have been protesting since Wednesday against the Supreme Court ruling. In Islamabad, nearly 5,000 people claiming religious parties rallied, calling for the hanging of Asia Bibi and the judges who acquitted her, also known as "Blasphemers."
"The acquittal of Asia is not only a denial of justice, but also a way of satisfying the demands of opponents of the blasphemy law, and unrestrained freedom of expression (hate) lawyers," has posted on social networks Khadim Hussain Rizvi, leader of the radical party TLP at the origin of the demonstrations.
