After the singer Beth Ditto in 2017, the American actress Jessica Chastain was responsible for enchanting the windows and lighting the famous tree 35 meters located in the heart of the department store. A showcase of Kids United New Generation also takes place.
Another novelty, a drawing contest for children from 5 to 11 years was organized to define the look of characters coming to life in the windows on the theme "the factory of dreams". Thus, the 11 animated stuffed animals were modeled in 3D by illustrators Karascoët and trained by Marie Pommpuy and Sébastien Cosset from the drawings of the laureates.
Spring unveils showcases on Thursday
Thursday, it will be the turn of Spring to unveil its eleven windows in the colors of Christmas at 17:30 in the presence of Laeticia Casta. Having chosen the theme "magical worlds of Christmas", the neighbor of Galeries Lafayette will stage two detectives in search of Santa Claus.
And Spring has seen things in big ways. Its stores will be decorated with 170 Christmas trees, 61.233 Christmas balls and 3.4 km of garlands.
