A user posted a photo on Twitter of several bags filled with deliberately degraded shoes. The brand responded by baduring that these pairs were "importable".
"Allegory of Capitalism." It is with this formula that a surfer posted a photo on Twitter, Friday, July 6, on which we see several bags of shoes of the brand Mellow Yellow voluntarily degraded and deposited in the street.
Allegory of capitalism: new shoes, thrown away, but taking care before doing so to rust them to the cutter, so that beggars deign to enjoy without paying. pic.twitter.com/uDRAMFBKp9

His message was retweeted almost 7000 times and was very reactive on the social network. Several people denounced a common practice at some stores.
Same in a big sports shop where I worked a few months ago a few years ago. It ripped clothes and shoes every day before throwing them away. https://t.co/9YrKWqK8Q9

The place where the bags filled with shoes were thrown is not specified by the user but it is Twitter account Mellow Yellow Paris who responded, baduring that these pairs were "importable" .
This seemingly incomprehensible gesture concerned importable pairs: isolated feet, tears, major defect. We are currently studying recycling solutions for these products that can not be used by anyone. We remain very attentive to these questions.

"They were perhaps unsightly, but not importable. It are since the cuts of cutter, well targeted to make them just importables" responds the surfer, who suggests to the brand to look at dozens of proposals visible under the tweet to find recycling solutions.
