Quinté Sunday, July 1: Magnentius deserved it!
After the package yesterday Max La Fripouille (1), they were still 15 from our quinté this Sunday, July 1 in Saint-Cloud. Disputed in the Prix d'Auxerre (Handicap divided – 1st race – Race D – 4 years old and over – 2400 meters – 3rd race at 15:15), this Sunday Quintal returned to Magnentius (3 – Mr. Nobili) which went well substituted for his boxing partner, since he too is trained by Rodolphe Collet.
Very well started, then close to the animators during the
history, Magnentius (3) has arrived
to find the pbadage within 200 meters from the pole, then he continued well
his effort to the end to come to win clearly to finish.
Beat with honors, the outsider Makeflawless (10 – K. Barbaud) had come to the fore before approaching
the long final turn, then he showed a great pugnacity until
end to resist the various badaults for the places.
Principal animator of this test, Linardo (9 – A. Badel) returned to attack Makeflawless (10) which had taken him the better before turning,
at the entrance of the straight line, then he showed great courage,
even keeping the exact 3rd place.
Long favorite of this quinté, Sommery (8 – C. Demuro) waited a long time in the second third
the peloton along the rail, then she drew a very nice straight line in not
ceasing to return to the ranks to the end, finishing close to Linardo (9).
Also very well started, then in the back of the main animator,
Linardo (9 – A. Badel) Palmerino (6 – E. Hardouin) propped up the
along the rope, away from it in the
finish line, which allowed Magnentius (3) to infiltrate. Still fighting for victory in
mid-straight line, Eddy Hardouin's partner, was a little
distance (while being courageous) and had to be satisfied with the 5 th place.
The note :
Pachadargent (2 – P.C. Boudot) – 6 th to 14/1
Several good notes in this quinté, but the straight line
final Pachadargent (2 – P.C. Boudot) did not go unnoticed . Always
pointed in last position, in rather clear withdrawal of the first, the resident
Jean-Pierre Gauvin has continued to build ground all along the line
of arrival, to come "to die" at the gates of the quinté.
The disappointment :
Imago Jasius (16 – F. Veron) – 12 th to 5.8 / 1
Favorite past before the start of the quinté, Imago Jasius (16 – F. Véron) was always pointed in the second
third of the peloton during the course. He was trying to progress a bit in the
finish line, but he clearly abdicated 150 meters from the goal and his jockey
did not insist unnecessarily.
