The day-to-day show

The day-to-day show

Begun Thursday, the show "The Guardian of the temple", the company La Machine, continues until tomorrow night in the streets of Toulouse. Every day corresponds to an act. Then the days are then cut into three scenes: the morning, the afternoon and the evening. Between each, the machines "sleep" in the streets.

The story.- The show features the Minotaur, also called Astérion, and the spider, Ariane. It is a reinterpretation of the Ariane myth, inspired by the history of the Pink City. In summary, the Minotaur wakes up in the labyrinth city in search of his temple. Ariane, the spider, her half-sister, guardian of the labyrinth, protects and guides her with her magical powers.

Places.- Voluntarily, the company maintains a certain mystery on the precise sites where the scenes take place. The sectors concerned are the Saint-Cyprien neighborhoods, the hyper-center, the Augustinians, Jean-Jaurès and Les Carmes. The machines roam from one place to another. Some benchmarks are specified in the scenario summary that we give below. The perimeters concerned are shown in the maps below which correspond to the traffic restrictions.

Reminder of the first two days.- The Minotaur and the Ariane spider appeared Thursday morning. Thursday night, Ariadne came down from the Hotel-Dieu. Yesterday morning, she went to wake up the Minotaur on Capitol Square. Yesterday evening, spitting her, she conferred powers.

TODAY.- From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm: The Minotaur goes in search of his wings.

From 3 pm to 5 pm: Ariane guides the Minotaur.

From 7:30 to 8:30 pm: Ariane and the Minotaur meet on the Pont Neuf. Appear wings that come to rest on the back of the Minotaur.

TOMORROW.- From 10:30 am to 12 noon: The Minotaur and Ariadne are in search of the temple that has failed at the Daurade.

From 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm: following the search of the temple.

From 7:30 to 8:30 pm: On the New Bridge, Ariane and the Minotaur meet again. The temple comes to rest on the back of the Minotaur.
