Like every year the San Diego Comic Con was an opportunity to hear about all our favorite series and a lot of things were said during the different panels. History to see a little clearer, we offer a quick return on the key information of some series and their trailer when they were broadcast.
The Walking Dead : Andrew Lincoln, Whisperers and trailer
The news has been confirmed, season 9 of The Walking Dead will be the last for Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes, the hero of the series. And this is not the only info that has fallen since it was confirmed that the Whisperers, or Whisperers in VO, will be part of the next season . Alpha has been cast and will be played by Samantha Morton and it is from October 7 on AMC – and October 8 on OCS – that we can discover.
Riverdale : New mystery, new characters and trailer
October 10 will mark the return of Riverdale for a third season on the CW and as you can see in the trailer, the trouble is not over for Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica. The new episodes should unveil a darker side of Polly, which can be seen in a strange ritual in the trailer . The leader of the cult she is part of, Edgar Evernever, has been cast. But the family of Betty will not be the only one to be at the center of the intrigues since the mother and the sister of Jughead will finally appear.
The Flash : Trailer, new enemy and Nora
The trailer for Season 5 of The Flash gave a good overview of what to expect from the October 9 on the CW. One can notably see the new formidable enemy of the season, Cicada, which will be interpreted by Chris Klein . The next episodes will tell more about the mystery that is Nora West Allen and the secret it seems to hide. Finally we can surely expect something special for the 100th episode of the season that will coincide with the final mid-season.
Arrow : Return of Roy and new villains
With Oliver in prison, Arrow 7's Season 7 will see Roy Harper return to retrieve his mask . And the city will need a vigilante since the Longbow Hunters, who will be the new enemies of the Team Arrow, will make their entry in the next episodes, broadcast from October 15 on the CW.
Roswell : First trailer
The first trailer of the reboot of Roswell New Mexico fell and gives a small preview of the version made in Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries, The Originals) of this cult series
Vikings : Civil War and trailer
The sequel to season 5 of Vikings will arrive on November 28 on History and the trailer of the next episodes tease the war that will take place between Ivar on the one hand and Bjorn and Lagertha on the other. Which son of Ragnar will win? We do not know yet but one thing is certain, the future of Lagertha is more uncertain than ever …
Legacies : Jump in time, guest stars and trailer
At the panel of Legacies the new spin-off of the universe of The Vampire Diaries – that of The Originals to be precise – Julie Plec expressed the wish that many characters from his two series appear in the new spin-off . As a reminder Legacies will take place 2 years after the end of The Originals and the trailer above already gives a glimpse of what awaits Hope. See you on October 25 on the CW.
Buffy : A reboot in development
The controversial news fell a short while ago: the cult Buffy against the Vampires will also be entitled to its reboot . The wave of resumption of series ended for years continues and it is this time the vampire slayer who pbades. It was Joss Whedon himself who made the announcement and this time executive producer while Monica Owusu-Breen will be the showrunneuse. The role played by Sarah Michelle Gellar will be attributed to an African-American actress but no other details have been released yet.
