Gaming offers: 3 months of Xbox Game Pass for $ 1, programmable LED mouse for $ 15 and more

It’s the weekend, and although there is still nothing to do in the real world (what, stirs me crazy?), at least we still have video games. And today we have cheap powerful games, gaming accessories, and game subscriptions.

First things first: Epic Games’ latest giveaway is top rated strategy sim Galactic Civilizations 3. It’s completely free for PC; all you need is an Epic Games account and the client software. Price if purchased on Steam: $ 40. Read GameSpot’s Galactic Civilizations 3 review to find out more.

Here are a few other must-see offers. As always, prices are correct at the time of writing and are subject to change.

Amazon

Speaking of freebies, Amazon has a new bundle of free PC games available to Prime subscribers every month. Right now the tally is 30, which is amazing.

So click on that link below and scroll down (past “loot,” which is also free) to Games with Prime. The latest additions are at the bottom, and they are impressive. I recommend checking along the edge, the alt frequencies and when the lifts go wrong.

To install and play these games, you will need the Amazon Games app, which is also available through this free page.

Victs

I recently realized that the inexpensive wireless mouse I was using was not suitable for gaming. On the one hand, it’s a bit jerky, which can make games that require ultra-precise aiming stand out. It’s also light on the buttons and lacks programming capabilities.

That’s why I’m switching to this Victsing Mouse, which offers a plethora of modes, colors, and customizations – all for just $ 15 when you click the $ 3 coupon on the page. It normally sells for $ 21; this is the lowest price ever.

Sony

If you are a PlayStation owner, a PlayStation Plus subscription is anything but essential. CDKeys will provide a digital redemption code for half the regular price.

Note, however, that the last time I made a purchase from this company (which has been around for years and has a 4.7-star TrustPilot rating) the code I received did not work. And I’ve heard anecdotal reports of similar issues, like canceling orders almost immediately after purchase.

On the other hand, a fellow editor at CNET told me that he had made four purchases from CDKeys in the past year, and they all worked without a hitch. Your mileage may vary.

Microsoft

In addition to Xbox Live Gold, which enables online multiplayer gaming, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives you access to over 100 games for the console, your PC, and even Android devices. You also get an EA Play subscription.

This offer gets you three months for just a dollar. And it’s available even if you’ve already had trials or Game Pass memberships. I know because I did and was able to register.

When this extended trial expires, you will begin to be billed at the regular rate ($ 15 per month), unless you cancel.

Staples

Available in blue, red, green, or black, this stylish seat includes an integrated headrest, lumbar support, tilt tension and lock, and a seven-year warranty. The arms can also swivel up and out of the way, which is handy if you prefer more freedom of movement while playing.

What’s particularly noteworthy here is the user rating: 4.5 stars from over 4,700 buyers. Alas, it doesn’t appear to be available in stores (although shipping is free), so you can’t take it for a test.
