Georgian voters furious after Democrats’ promise of ‘$ 2,000 checks’ turns into $ 1,400

Georgia Democrats have already reportedly started raging against their two new senators, Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, who were sworn in by Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, according to a new report.

The pair narrowly won hard-fought races against the Republican incumbents in Peach State, winning Senate control for the Democrats in the process.

But a major problem raised by critics is that President Biden adopted a coronavirus relief plan that would send checks for $ 1,400 to many Americans – while Warnock and Ossoff campaigned on a pledge of $ 2,000.

“Warnock and Ossoff have made it their business to approve and say exclusively ‘checks for $ 2,000”, “Georgian Democrat Oscar Zaro told Mediaite. “A lot of people in my district voted blue in the second round for two main reasons. One: Loeffler and Perdue refusing to relieve us during COVID while enjoying themselves millions; and two checks for $ 2,000.”
