"The weather is good, the water level is good, the divers are ready, the boys are physically, mentally and psychologically ready to go out."

The operation is designed to accompany every boy with two divers. The boys must be out little by little. Experts expect the mission, which began at 10 am local (5 am CEST), ends Sunday evening at 9 pm (4 pm CEST).

Boys Aged 11 to 16 and Their 25- One year old football coaches have been trapped in the flooded cave of Chiang Rai Province since June 23rd. They are stuck in a dry place about four kilometers inside the cave.

The media camp is cleared

Lack of oxygen and bad weather have increased pressure on rescuers. In the coming days there will still be heavy rain. As far as the group is concerned, the oxygen content in the air has dropped from 21 to 15%.

On Sunday, divers and paramedics arrived at the cave. In addition, the temporary media camp near the entrance to the cave was cleaned up with more than 1,000 Thai and foreign journalists. New incoming journalists were denied access. They were sent to a government building with the announcement that a press conference would follow later.

The rescue operation is extremely dangerous: a diver died in action a few days ago. Even professional divers needed five to six hours to get from the group to the exit. In addition, some boys are not good swimmers.
