Michael Patrick Kelly is known to many as a member of the well-known group The Kelly Family, especially in the '90s. With songs like "An Angel" or "Fell In Love with an Extraterrestrial", the group celebrates great hits . Meanwhile, Michael Patrick Kelly, who was known at the time as Paddy Kelly, is also a successful solo singer. His fourth and current album, "ID", reached fifth place in the German charts.

The singer is already looking forward to his new role as host in "Sing my Song". A year ago, he participated in the show. "The experience in South Africa 2017 remains unforgettable and I had secretly wished to return someday," said the 40-year-old. "I love this show, which talks about musicians and their stories, as well as stories behind the songs," he continues.

It is not yet known whether he will join "The Voice of Germany" next year despite his new role as host of "Sing Mein Song". He has only replaced his long-time coach, Samu Haber, singer of the Finnish band Sunrise Avenue, in the summer of 2018 as a juror in the cast of ProSieben.

The other participants of the Vox show are now known. Michael Patrick Kelly receives Milow in South Africa, Johannes Oerding, Wincent Weiss, Jennifer Haben, Alvaro Soler and Jeanette Biedermann. Each artist is at the forefront of "Sing my song" every week. The other musicians cover their songs and the original singer then comments on the new versions of his songs. At the end, the "evening song" is chosen.

But before the start of the new season, there will be a meeting with some of the stars of the fifth season of "Sing my song". On Tuesday, November 27, Vox will be presented from 8:15 pm with the special show "Sing my song – The Christmas concert". Mark Forster, Johannes Strate, Marian Gold, Mary Roos, Rea Garvey, Judith Holofernes and Leslie Clio then sing their favorite Christmas carols.
