Peter Maffay has been working with Hendrikje Balsmeyer, 31, since the end of 2015. She has worked as a teacher. She is now employed by the Maffay agency and therefore always at her side. It works well, said the cult musician at the "Express" in March: "We both like it, it's wonderful, that's why we chose it and it works." He also said about his love that she keeps him young. "I want to be with her until I am everything." Now, even a little girl crowns her love.

Maffay was married for the first time in 1975. The marriage with Petra Küfner lasted until 1979. Two years later, he remarried, adopted with his second wife Chris Heinze a girl, Nina. The separation followed in 1986. The third marriage then in 1990 with Michaela Herzog. Divorced in 2000. He quickly met Tania Spengler. He was married in 2003. The two children have their son, Yaris, divided in 2015. The same year, Maffay and Hendrikje became a couple.
