reThe American rapper Mac Miller has died of an overdose of drugs and alcohol. The ex-boyfriend of pop star Ariana Grande has probably inadvertently taken too much cocaine, mixed with alcohol and opioid fentanyl, said Monday the Los Angeles medical examiner.

The 26-year-old died on September 7th. Already immediately after an overdose, the cause of death was suspected, but the toxicological studies were removed.

A suicide has excluded his family and close badociates. Miller's mother said that she had spoken to him the night before he died and that he had enthusiastically reported on his new album and tour.

The rapper has had a drug problem for a while. The pop star Prince died of fake pills containing fentanyl in 2016, but looked like a pain killer. Matthew Roberts, guitarist of the band 3 Doors Down, has also died of an overdose of fentanyl and hydrocodone.
