Carlos Ghosn is back in jail and a Tokyo court has just approved a request from prosecutors to detain him for a further 10-day interrogation. according to Reuters, the Tokyo District Court said it had approved a request from prosecutors to detain Ghosn until April 14. Ghosn was arrested again at his apartment in Tokyo on Thursday. Ghosn's last message on Twitter indicated that he planned to hold a press conference on April 11 during which he would "tell the truth" about what was happening. His last detention will be a problem, which his lawyer says intentionally.
Prosecutors also reportedly confiscated Mr. Ghosn's wife's passport and mobile phone during his last arrest. The man himself later appealed to the French government for help. "I call on the French government to defend me and defend my rights as a citizen," he pleaded.
