Ghost of Tsushima developer teases upcoming unannounced PS5 games sooner than you think

By 2023, PlayStation Studios is offering a few PlayStation exclusives between Horizon forbidden to the west, Gran Turismo 7, and God of War Ragnarok. However, apparently there are also some unannounced games coming out in this time window. On the Reset Era video game forum, a senior game designer verified at Sucker Punch Productions recently suggested that Sony has yet to reveal its full hand. Sadly, what’s in this hand the developer doesn’t say, but apparently there are things the company has been silent about that aren’t very far from being released.

Responding to a user complaining about the lack of AAA PS5 exclusives, the developer in question provided the following quote: “People are now assuming that there won’t be games in between because Sony doesn’t have anything yet. announced for this period? OK. … “

As you might expect, PlayStation gamers immediately concluded that one of these mystery games must be from Sucker Punch Productions, but that’s unlikely given that Ghost of Tsushima just released last year, unless it’s a standalone type of expansion that can be quickly done.

Whatever these games are, they certainly cannot be of age, otherwise they would have already been announced. It should also be noted that the window in question is now up to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ‘Release of what will likely be in fall 2023. In other words, the developer could tease early and mid-2023 games.

Unfortunately, at the moment, PlayStation fans don’t have much to do other than speculation. That said, if further information is provided or the situation evolves, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly.
