Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrates NBA title with Chick-fil-A run and photo ops with fans

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his first NBA championship on Wednesday by roaming the city and winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy at Chick-fil-A.

Antetokounmpo was on Instagram Live and celebrated his 50 point game to close the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night with 50 chicken nuggets and a drink of course.

“Great drink, no ice with half-Sprite-half-lemonade,” he asked.

Additionally, Antetokounmpo took photos with fans who had passed by his vehicle to congratulate him and celebrate with him. The Bucks star even let a fan touch the trophy and the guy was in heaven.

“That’s why I love Milwaukee,” Antetokounmpo said. “That’s why I chose to stay because we’ve been celebrating together. It’s been like that from day one. And I love it.”

He scored 50 points, took 14 rebounds, recorded five blocks and distributed two assists in the victory.

He is the first player since Shaquille O’Neal to record 40 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in a playoff game, according to ESPN Stats & Info. O’Neal did so in 2001. He is also the first player to have a 50-10-5 stat line since Blocks were first called in the 1973-74 season.

This is Milwaukee’s first championship since 1971.
