As the Golden Globes went virtual this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, viewers couldn’t help but notice the glaring technical issues.

At the first prize of the evening, viewers were unable to hear Daniel Kaluuya’s acceptance speech after winning Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Film. He won the honor for his role in “Judas and the Black Messiah”.

After a few seconds of dead air with the cameras flowing back to presenter Laura Dern, the issues were finally resolved and the cameras returned to 32-year-old Kaluuya.

“Can you hear me now?” he joked before delving into his acceptance speech.

The show appeared to continue to have tech issues, as viewers at home noted.

“Don’t you think #GoldenGlobes should sound better? The technology is so bad! It’s hard to watch!” Patti Stanger, “Millionaire Matchmaker” star, wrote.

“the golden globes must fire their entire technical team,” wrote a Twitter user.
