Google Home speakers apparently benefit from Apple Music support

Apple Music is approaching Google Home, according to its own iOS app for managing its smart speakers. A MacRumeurs The reader first noticed that the Google Home app now lists Apple Music as a service that can be integrated, although this feature is not functional at this time.

This would not be surprising given that Apple Music arrived on Amazon's Amazon Echo devices at the end of last year. Last month, Apple also announced to CES that it would integrate AirPlay and iTunes support to a wide range of TVs that will be released in 2019.

Services are becoming more and more important in Apple's business and, with Apple Music already available on Android, it makes sense for the company to address it with a wide range of speakers. Everyone does not want a HomePod or an Apple TV.
