Google IO 2019 dates are next week and we're planning big announcements, which are traditionally a showcase for Google platform software features (as well as one or two hardware surprises).

It's far from the only thing Google will announce at the event, but for now, we'll list all the rumors we've heard about.
Date and time of Google IO
Google IO 2019 will run from May 7th to 9th at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, near the company's headquarters.
The event will open with an opening address at 10:00 am Pacific time on May 7th, and will depart from there, with several small simultaneous sessions, live demonstrations and presentations during the three days of the event. # 39; event. Google Pixel 3a

Android Q
We will probably have all the details on Android Q, the next version of the mobile operating system that is already in beta for more than a month. Although it was probably not made public until the end of the year (perhaps at the same time as the Google Pixel 4, as has always been the case with Google phones), we could perhaps take a look at the expected features of Google IO 2019.
These include some long-desired benefits, including dark system-wide mode, which outperform apps to get that beloved dark text white text look and Facial Identity style facial authorization.
Other suspicious features prepare Android for next year's phones, such as support for foldable phones, more privacy options and additional development tools.

Max Nest Hub (Google Home Hub Max)
Google could have accidentally posted a new product in its range of connected speakers – especially a device that could be an enlarged version of its smart screen speaker and screen Google Home Hub which came out earlier this year. Evidence suggests that it will be called Nest Max Hub, but we expect it will call Google Home Hub Max to bring it into line with the previous product.
While the original had a 7-inch screen, the Home Hub Max has a so-called 10-inch widescreen display. This would make it much better to watch the media, whether during relaxation or during a task (like a recipe or cooking tutorial).
Above all, this version would have a security camera, which the original Home Hub had omitted for reasons of confidentiality (and probably cost reduction).
Speech substitution
The list of events for Google IO 2019 endorsements The Euphoria project, which aims to take advantage of "Google technologies to give voice to people with speech disorders". Anything else at Google IO 2019?
Google loves introducing new concepts to IO, but sometimes they're not ready to be released immediately. At least one item that debuted at last year's event is in this list: a mode in Google Maps that introduces AR overlays in the top half of the screen (like the Google goal ) while holding the traditional map and arrow down.
As we said at the time, Google did not specify when this unified guidance mode would be put into service – and we are still waiting. This may be the year when a StreetView AR is added to Google Maps.
