Google Now lets you order food from Search, Assistant, and Maps

Google is integrating the Food Order with some of its leading online services. The company now allows users to order food in Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. In the United States, users can now use any of these services to order food at nearby restaurants.

This feature is compatible with leading services such as DoorDash, Postmates, Deelivery.com, Slice and ChowNow, with other partners soon. Restaurants that support this new feature will have an "Order Online" button in their search results on Google Search and Google Maps, where you can place an order. You will be able to view the menu and pay via Google Pay.

And on Google Assistant, you can simply ask the assistant to place an order with a particular restaurant, which will allow you to choose a service. You can then go through the checkout process, choose what you want and pay with Google Pay. Wizard even allows you to make repeated commands. So, if you like something from your favorite restaurant, you can simply ask Google Assistant to order that exact order. You can also order your favorite dishes this way.

This is a great addition to Google's services, especially to the assistant, given the growing popularity of food deliveries. I would like this to go to the UK.
