Discount fans should be happy to learn that Google's storefront has just chosen a new category of products: Refurbs products. Today, we've spotted a new section of the Google Store that only sells products redeveloped by the first part, which are supposed to meet "the same high standards and rigorous testing of any device with the Google name". At the moment, all his slings are packs of 3 Pixelbooks and Google Wifi Refurbished, in limited quantities.

Both of these products and the store section itself are part of a "Certified Refurbished" program that sounds terribly familiar. Google promises that the refurbished appliances sold are of a new quality and have been subject to inspections, cleanings and extensive testing to meet the requirements of the company. It even promises a one-year warranty, with similar financing options available at check-out.

For now, all you can buy in the renovated storefront is the i5 / 128GB version of the Pixelbook for $ 749, or a pack of 3 Google Wifi for $ 179. Whereas the Pixelbook has been as cheap as 600 USD for both new and redeveloped previously (among other lower prices), this is not exactly a shout agreement, but it's less than we saw recently. The pack of 3 Google Wifi is a much better price in comparison. Quantities for both are limited.

For the moment, only the two oldest products are listed in this new refurbished section, and no official announcement has been made for this new certified or refurbished program. As far as we can judge, it's brand new so far – so much so that some links on the page, such as the "Learn More" button in the Warranty section do not even work. We contacted Google for more information but we had not received a response at the time of writing.
