Several questionable or incorrect calls drew the attention of NFL officials during the second week and some of those calls were recorded during the 16-14 loss of the Broncos against the Bears.

The last of these calls took place at the very end of the game when the Bears got a one-second timeout at the end of the game following a wide catcher catch from Allen Robinson. Robinson went to the ground to get the delay, but many felt that the last second had already melted before the call could be made.

Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said Monday he was part of the group.

"Nothing in life in the world is happening simultaneously," said Fangio, via 104.3 The Fan. "There was latency there."

Earlier in the campaign, Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb was punished for beating Mitchell Trubisky in a widely criticized call that the NFL had argued as a judgment. Fangio took a page from Sean Payton, the Saints coach, when there was talk of reacting to this penalty.

"You can not control unofficial or bad calls," said Fangio.

Bears coach Matt Nagy could say the same thing about a hard blow to Eddie Goldman earlier in the game and other coaches and league players also fall into this category after a Sunday when officials of the league have been subjected to scrutiny.
