Black Friday is underway and Google is pushing past Pixel owners to switch to the Pixel 4a 5G with a notable trade-in promotion. The US Google Store has significantly increased the trade-in value of older Made by Google devices for this phone.
When purchasing the Pixel 4a 5G for $ 499, the trade-in values increased significantly. This doesn’t apply to the Pixel 4a or even the flagship Pixel 5. The Pixel 2, Pixel 3, and Pixel 4 devices all benefit, while the original Pixel and Pixel 3a don’t see a boost.

Google is officially announcing this as a way to get the unlocked Pixel 4a 5G starting at $ 199. It’s an interesting and aggressive offer from Google that reveals how the company is putting this year’s central phone in the spotlight.
It’s actually the larger phone with a 6.2-inch display, but it lacks high-end features like wireless charging, waterproofing, or a metal construction. It also has less RAM at 6 GB, but the same processor and the same dual camera system with wide angle lens. The Pixel 4a 5G is only available in Just Black on the Google Store. It follows another 5G 4a offer of $ 299 on Google Fi, while the Pixel 5 doesn’t get a discount on the MVNO store this weekend.
