Modder ‘KalvinMDB’ has released a new version of his Vice City BETA Edition mod for Grand Theft Auto Vice City. As the title suggests, this mod aims to bring back to the game most, if not all, of the features that were cut during development.
The mod aims to restore buildings, dialogues, pedestrians and the original atmosphere of the game. Thus, PC players will be able to have the most authentic experience.
Version 3.5.6 fixes many bugs from previous versions and adds some new features. Unfortunately, the modder didn’t provide any further details. Additionally, the mod now comes with its own installer.
KalvinMDB is also working on the next big version of this mod. In version 4, it will complete the rest of the big changes to the map. It will also restore the last cut dialogue in missions, and recreate cut weapons (these being such as Grenade Launcher, Tazer, etc.). It will also implement new features, such as drinking, gambling, and dating. Finally, it also plans to restore all the other miscellaneous things such as songs on radio stations and more.
