However, last year, with the famous Gavroglu Law, which called for the "re-evaluation" of all postgraduate students with "viability" criteria, the graduate degrees of universities and TEIs are pbaded from 524 to 665. But even behind them, it is deliberately concealed that the new governing bodies, as well as the Foundation Councils provided by the Diamantopoulo Law, the regional councils that will be set up in the coming period are nothing but institutions – organs of capital strategy in tertiary education. Regardless of their constitution, their mode of election (which is the only source of inspiration for democracy, students no longer participate in their election), their role is predetermined: support on the nails and teeth the rapprochement of universities with the spirit of enterprise opens the way to new forms of partnership between universities and companies. These institutions present themselves as a great governmental success, at the same time that the student movement and its structures are eliminated from each institution meeting, they are not deliberately invited, they constantly prevent them from participating and expressing the opinion of student badociations

With regard to the budget of higher education: What is again presented as an "exploit" by the government, it is another look reversed on reality. The government has seen an increase in the state funding of loans it has obtained from the European Investment Bank, which will be repaid with interest, putting an extra loop on the throat of the popular family.

Spectacular reduction of already limited expenditure on education by 34%! The increase of 2.88% projected for 2018 perceives that there is a drop in the ocean compared to the huge bloodletting that took place at the in recent years. And this increase is camouflaged … It is the EUR 184 million loan from the ECB which has been accepted by the government, which has even announced them more than 10 times so far, presenting them as a "lifeline" for universities. It is a loan that is given in terms of terms and interests, as any memorandum, and which relates to the "reinforcement of the infrastructure", again the l & # 39; hot silver for large construction and construction groups

Finally, the government encourages the so-called "synergies" of universities and TEI, as we have 39, calls for the promotion of the so-called single field of higher education. These are the measures taken to replace bachelor's degrees, to deepen the categorization of departments, diplomas and alumni, to ensure low-cost business potential through internships, apprenticeships and biannual training programs. . Do not give them away. On the contrary, to return them to the offensive, organize the struggle of students, workers and teachers, both for the revelation of mockery and for the student movement to define its own "red lines", measure its own success in defending culture.
