The incident occurred on Friday afternoon (20.07.2018) when the boy was in the bath with the family in the Kalantos area. Bathers on the beach realized that something was wrong with the 13 year old boy who was in the sea and pulled him to the shore but without his senses
His mother, who was on the beach, alerted the EKAB. The 13-year-old child was transferred to the Naxos Hospital, where his death was recorded
The body of the unfortunate child must be transported to Athens for a necropsy.
