From Saturday 10/11, the services of metro line 3 (Agia Marina-Airport-Agia Marina) will resume after the intervention of the Ministry of Transport.
Thus, transfers to and from the airport "El. Venizelos" will be made without any transfer to "Douk Plakentias".
The directions for the airport will begin (every hour 00:26 and 00:56) from the "Ag. Marina" station, while, according to the RES, the trains that will start at the airport (all hours 00:24 and 00:54) will finish their journey until the station "Ag. Marina".
According to STASY SA, "the overhaul of the links, which came into effect on 1 November, aimed to rationalize the transport of STASY". Nevertheless, according to his administration, the company, taking into account even limited requests for the suppression of transfers, decided, for reasons of social responsibility and confirming its public character, to restore the routes as they were.
"The restoration, in the previous design, shows in particular that the objections raised about the impossibility of carrying out the transport project due to train problems and lack of spare parts were unfounded", adds Stasis SA.
