From a new future decision of the State Council, which will decide decisions of lower courts, the condition of the new trial for retrospective applications of the Deputy Minister of Social Security, Tasos Petropoulos.

In an interview with The Nation, Petropoulos intervenes in the public debate on the subject of the 2.5 million pensioners and makes it clear that the government will implement the new decision of the Council of Europe, whatever it is. or, to all retirees, whether or not they have filed an application or claim.

It should be recalled that the 2012 legislation (Laws No. 4051 and No. 4093) concerning "scissors" in primary and supplementary pensions, together with the total suppression of donations, found unconstitutional by the Council of Europe in 2015.

The Supreme Court then ruled on public interest grounds that those who had not already been brought to court could not retrospectively request the delay before the impugned decision, that is, for the years 2012 to June 2015.

On this decision, the architecture of the recalculation of the law 4387/2016 for all pensions was largely built.
