The grandchildren of Ourania Gerolymou of Rhodes sat a few days ago in the dungeon for the murder of their grandmother.

30-year-old Kyriacos Markopoulos and her 33-year-old sister Aikaterini Vidal, sentenced to two contradictory sentences handed down by the Kos and Rhodes Courts of Justice to life imprisonment and 10 years, served again at the Rhodes Court of Appeal.

The two grandchildren used to kill their grandmother at home in a house for a TV on November 3, 2014.

The Court of Appeal unanimously found innocent, for doubt, Vidalis, who seeks compensation in court and guilty, as Markopoulos, who was sentenced to the same penalty.

The head prosecutor had previously suggested to the court that Markopoulos be found guilty of murder and that Vidalis was guilty of direct coercion over a murder.
