The rating agency Moody's downgraded Tuesday the long-term solvency of Italian banks and other companies, other than the financial sector, following the recent downgrade of the Italian economy.

In particular, the banks: Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca IMI, Mediobanca, FCA Bank, BNL and Raiffeisen from A3 to Baa1 with stable outlook and CA Cariparma in the same category of negative outlook have been downgraded.

Credem has been downgraded from Baa2 to Baa3 with a stable outlook.
