RAE: Positive result of the auction of renewable energy power plants

[ad_1]

First positive example, they describe the auction result for renewable power plants last week, sources of the Energy Regulatory Authority

The same sources are concentrated on the one hand on the lowering of green energy consumption up to 22.7% below starting prices, and on the other hand on the need for investment to start soon, to implement the units and to operate in a sustainable manner, which will create the preconditions for attracting even greater investment interest in future competitions

With regard to the fact that the power awarded and auctioned was inferior to initial planning, they point out that the additional power will be absorbed in subsequent tenders

Auction auctions relate to the amount ("differential differential") that energy units will receive in addition to the price they receive from their market share, up to a reference price set by the Energy Regulatory Authority

According to the terms of the notices bidding and the official auction results, maximum prices and offers by investment category are as follows:

1) For a "small" photovoltaic power of 500 kilowatts to 1 megawatt, the maximum price was 85 euros per megawatt while offers submitted fluctuated from 80 € / MWh to 75.87 € / MWh and the average price is about 78.42 € / MWh. A total of 155 projects participated and 1,527 tenders were submitted while the total power allocated was 53.48 megawatts

. 2) For "large" photovoltaic plants from 1 MW to 20 MW, the maximum price was € 80 / MWh, ranging from € 62.97 / MWh to € 71 / MWh and the weighted average of 63%, (19659002)

3) For wind turbines of 3 to 50 MW or 6 to 50 MW for wind farms owned by Energy Communities. the price was 90 € / MWh, and the offers ranged from 68.18 € / MWh to 71.93 € / MWh (average price of 69.53 € / MWh). They participated in 14 projects and 170.92 megawatts

It is noted that the power auctioned (19659002)

According to previous ministerial decisions, during the triennium 2018-20 will be auctioned with this wind and photovoltaic process of about 2600 MW (of 1000 megawatts in 2018 and 2019 plus 600 megawatts in 2020)

These auctions are the tool to achieve the objectives increase the penetration ing sources of energy in the energy balance, while limiting the burden on consumers. The latest milestone set by the EU is 32% of the energy consumed by the SERs by 2030.
