The station "Analipsis" of Thessaloniki metro station is ready for operation, announced today the president of Attiko Metro, Giannis Milopoulos. Referring to social media, he points out that "the rails in the twin tunnels are in place and the station is ready to operate."
It is recalled that Mr. Mylopoulos told ANA-MPA that Thessaloniki metro test routes will start in 2019, while in November 2020, 75% of the project will be delivered from the terminal of New Switzerland at the fountain.
Two months later, in January 2021, the Kalamaria line will be extended from Mikra to March 25 th and from there to the fountain. By the end of 2021 and early 2022, the stations of Hagia Sophia and Venizelos are expected to join the network, so the line will continue and end at the new station
