The presidential decree for the two new two-euro commemorative coins was published
As a result 750,000 new coins will be released, which will have the theme: "Kostis Palamas – 75 years of memory" and 750,000 other coins, which will have as theme: "70 years of the union of the Dodecanese with Greece."
As stated, "these pieces are cut in one go in a quantity of 750,000 pieces per subject, with the representation of the national part different from the actual Greek coins of that value." The representation on the common face and the crown of the two pieces is the same as the current Greek coins of this value with a year of cut in 2018 ". 
The denomination of the currency is indicated only in the common part in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EU) 729/2014 of 24 June 2014 on the name and technical specifications of euro coins put into circulation
