Thessaloniki: Protest against the detention of Greek officers – Greece

The immediate release of two Greek soldiers held in Turkish jails for four months asked the members of the Greek group Women Manes to demonstrate in front of the building of the Turkish Consulate, Agios Dimitrios Street in Thessaloniki

Keeping photographs of Army, Dimitris Koutlatzis and Angelos Mitroudis, have expressed their protest that they have been detained in the prisons of Adrianople since 1 March 2018, without yet being accused Turkish judicial authorities. The members of the Greek Women's Club asked to meet the Turkish consul in order to demand the immediate release of the two Greek artisans, but – as they said – their request was not satisfied

After an Internet call, the members of the group expressed their sympathy with the Greek soldiers and their families
